This model is amazingly accurate. The safety railing is a mixture of solid and stainless cable, just as on the full size 38. The salon even has a TV. The galley cabinetry, stove and fridge are faithfully reproduced,

And underneath the sole are the electric motors and batteries.
Yes, it's even radio controlled and can perform maneuvers just like it's big brother.

When the word spread through the factory, one by one and two by two, everyone had to come and see for themselves. Everyone was impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail.

Just like the full size 38, the handrails have three rails of tubing aft of the windshield,
then become tubing on the top rail and cable for the bottoom and middle rails forward of that.

Bob made two of them, one for himself and one for us. It is quite impressive to anyone, but those of us who know the boats intimately have been blown away by his skill and attention to the smallest detail.

A couple of months ago Bob stopped by the real "Marlo" at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club
to take pictures and get the final details he needed to finish the project.

While at the factory he stopped by the production line to see the latest 40 footer under construction.
