Side deck is amazingly wide making it very easy to get around on deck.
Both main and jib have "Lazy Jacks" for ease of handling and they store on their
own booms, the main on a standard boom with boom basket, and the jib stores with
its "CamberSpar". Note the solar panels. There are two on each side.
The "Boom Brake" on the left keeps the boom under control and greatly lessens
the chance of an accidental jibe.
For easy and safe sailing, all lines lead from the mast, through turning blocks
and into the cockpit where they are controlled by two electric winches and rope
clutches or "Sheet Stoppers".
The two buttons below the winch in the picture on the right control the two speed
winch.
The winch on the right controls all halyards and reefing lines. The one on the
left controls all sheets and the boom brake.
The cockpit is bright and sunny but weather tight when it needs to be. The new
canvas looks great.
| The comfortable captain's chair reclines and swivels |
The cockpit has three exits, port, starboard and aft. |
