The standard engines on the EndeavourCat 36 are twin 19 hp diesels.   Each engine has its own dedicated engine cranking battery and alternator.  Engines, transmissions, fuel filters, engine room blowers, battery disconnect switch, engine battery parallel switch, seawater intakes and strainers are all located under the bunks in the aft staterooms.  As you can see,  there's plenty of room to reach everything during maintenance. Cruising speed is around 7 knots.  The 60 gallon fuel tank gives you a cruising range of well over 400 miles.  29 hp diesels are available as an option.

Power from the engines is transformed into forward motion by sail-drives with props that fold to reduce drag when under sail.
