WHERE IS IT?
The Merry Pier is just inside Pass-a-Grille Channel at the southern end of St. Pete Beach. When you come in off the Gulf, it's the small pier on the left, just 8 blocks up from Land's End. If you're headed south from Boca Ciega Bay or headed west from Tampa Bay, it's on the right just before you go out Pass-a-Grille channel. It's the only commercial pier in Pass-a-Grille.

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
It's best to fuel up on a weekday since it can get kind of choppy when all the yahoos speed by during the weekend. Weekends are OK up until about 9:30 or 10AM. After that it can get too rough for comfort, so if possible, plan to fuel up on a weekday.
