What's New?        We've Gone...    Electric !

It's a whole different kind of boating. Your worries just melt away as you enjoy the world of stress-less boating.
Sailors have called it "sailing without the hassle"  and  "the most relaxing kind of boating you can do"

       

So, the big question on everybody's mind is.....
Why so small?  Why not make your larger yachts electric too?

Because the technology is just not yet there. In the smaller sizes, electric propulsion has proven itself to the point where we can stand behind it with confidence. We know it works, and works very well. Not so for the larger yachts.

We've built up a reputation over the years for manufacturing reliable boats with reliable systems onboard. Building a boat that can't live up to those standard goes against all that we stand for.  Right now, for larger yachts the technology looks good on paper, but not so good in the real world. All attempts so far have fallen short of their goals.

We will not produce a new boat until we know that it's bullet proof. We have high standards, because you do to.  Our yachts must be comfortable, safe, reliable, economical and low maintenance. If it can't meet all of those goals, it won't get the Endeavour name.

So with our green yachts, we are sticking with a proven technology and will move that technology onto
our larger boats when we are satisfied that that technology is up to our standards. That day is not today.
